Accessibility statement

I treat accessibility as part of doing the work properly, not as an addition to it. This site was designed and built to be usable by a wide range of visitors, including those using assistive technology.

The standard this site follows

The site is built to Israeli Standard IS 5568 for web content accessibility, which adopts the WCAG guidelines at level AA, and in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013.

Testing covered modern browsers, keyboard-only navigation, and automated checks of heading hierarchy, accessible names for controls, colour contrast and text direction.

What is accessible here

  • Full keyboard navigation, including a "skip to main content" link at the start of every page.
  • Sound semantic structure: exactly one main heading per page and an unbroken heading hierarchy.
  • An accessible name on every button, link and control; decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
  • Correct language and text direction in each of the site’s four languages, with full right-to-left support for Hebrew.
  • A persistent accessibility menu offering larger text, high or dark contrast, wider spacing, a readable typeface, stopped animation, a reading guide, an enlarged pointer and a focus ring.
  • The system-level reduced-motion preference is respected.
  • Content is visible without JavaScript — the entrance animations are never a condition for reading the page.
  • Text alternatives for every non-text element that carries meaning.

Known limitations

  • Links to external sites lead to content outside my control, whose accessibility may differ.
  • Academic papers linked from the publications page are published by the journals and conferences themselves, and their accessibility rests with them.

Found a problem?

If you meet an element that is not accessible, or you have a suggestion, I would like to hear it and will address it. Reach me on the phone number or email at the foot of every page.
